The Northland Vietnam Veterans Association will be honoring the men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice to this nation on Sunday, May 30.  Veterans, veteran’s families, and the public are welcome to attend the event which begins at 3:00 p.m. at the Northland Vietnam Veterans memorial on the Lakewalk.

According to the Northland Vietnam Veterans Association, 136 northland brothers whose names are inscribe on the Wall have been honored each year, since the dedication of the Memorial in 1992.

Presiding Officer of the ceremony is Dwight Nelson, a Past President and designer of the Northland Vietnam Veterans Memorial.

Main Speaker will be Brad Bennett (Sergeant U.S.M.C., wounded in Vietnam), host of Sound Off on KDAL radio.

The Blessings will be given by Father John Petrich, President of the St. Louis County Law Enforcement Chaplaincy (SLCLEC).

The Bag Piper is Kerry Welsh.

The Color Guard will be the Northland Vietnam Veterans Color Guard, Don McCormick Captain.

Military Honors to our fallen will be given by the Duluth Honor Guard, John Marshal Captain.
