The spirit of the holidays could be seen and felt Thursday at Fleet Farm.

The Duluth branch of the Mid-State Truck Service participated in 'Truckers for Tots.'

With the help of 20 volunteers, they perused the aisles of the store, hunting down toys to donate toward the 'Toys for Tots' program. They've done this for years, but they felt that in a year like 2020, everyone needs an extra bit of help.

“Mid-state truck service has been doing this for the last seven to ten years now throughout central Wisconsin and now in Minnesota,” said Mike Cooper, Operations Manager for Mid-State Truck Service. “We're a family owned and operated company of over 50 years and we feel the need to give back to families in our communities."

Cooper says they spent between $10,000 to $11,000 on toy purchases Thursday. Mid-State Truck Service as a whole is donating $50,000 worth of toys in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Cooper says the Salvation Army told them this could help over two thousand families.
