For families struggling, this isn't a very merry time of the year. But non-profit organizations across the country are doing what they can to ease the burden for families this holiday season.

Mackenzie Scott is the ex-wife of Jeff Bezos, the man who owns Amazon. But she's more than her name. In a blog post titled '384 Ways to Help,' she wrote about wanting to help Americans most vulnerable right now.

Scott's team sorted through thousands of national organizations, narrowing it down to 384. $4 billion is being donated to those 384 organizations, and the Duluth YMCA is one of them!

The types of organizations vary. "Some are filling basic needs: food banks, emergency relief funds, and support services for those most vulnerable," according to the post. "Others are addressing long-term systemic inequities that have been deepened by the crisis: debt relief, employment training, credit and financial services for under-resourced communities, education for historically marginalized and underserved people, civil rights advocacy groups, and legal defense funds that take on institutional discrimination."

The full list of organizations can be found here.
