The opportunities are endless for high schoolers on the path to finding their career.

And on Thursday, Lake Superior College gave an inside look into what the manufacturing field could be at their open house.

There is strong demand for machinists, welders and engineering cad designers in the Twin Ports region and beyond, even during the pandemic. And this was a chance for the future generation to check it all out.

Students could see all the high-tech equipment at the downtown campus including computerized machines, 3D printers and scanners, robotic welders, waterjet and plasma cutting, and cad design software.
