The center had been closed as a result of COVID-19, but it is back with a number of new exhibits.

Volunteers said the pandemic gave them time to create these new exhibits and they encourage the public to stop by.

“We've had several people through here—six of them today so we're happy for that and showing them all of the work that we accomplished,” Deelaine Carlson, volunteer said.

Volunteers said many of their exhibits were made possible by generous donations from the community.

The history center will be open Saturdays in July from 11:00am-3:00pm.
