The company released a list of 154 stores that will clsoe on Thursday. The closing stores include locations in Coon Rapids, Eden Prairie, Maple Grove, and Willmar in Minnesota and Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.

The two-story store at Duluth's Miller Hill Mall recently reopened with limited hours after an earlier closure due to the coronavirus pandemic.

J.C. Penney is the only remaining anchor retailer at the mall following the closures of the former Younkers and Sears stores in recent years. Essentia Health purchased both locations.
