Duluth Council votes to preserve Tiffany Windows

Created: July 13, 2020 11:06 PM

The Duluth City Council discussed more than the mask mandate Monday night.

Looking at the budget shortfall of millions of dollars, the city considered selling the Tiffany Windows that are displayed at the St. Louis County Depot.

However, the council decided against that instead unanimously reaffirming the windows are a local heritage preservation landmark.

The windows had once before been debated to sell during budget troubles while in the Great Recession.
