The Duluth City Council voted unanimously on Monday night to make the Lakewalk ADA compliant.

The portion of the Lakewalk above the intersection of Water Street and South 23rd Avenue East by Beacon Pointe will now be changed.

It is currently an S-curve, and climbs up a slope, but some city councilors, and community members have safety concerns with that design.

The curve will now be softened, and the path's grade eased.
