According to authorities, an employee reported seeing broken glass and someone inside the business while remotely checking the cameras.

Upon arrival, officers located tracks in the fresh snow leaving the gas station and set up a perimeter and a K9 track. Officers said the K9 and tracks in the snow lead them  to a residence on the 1900 Block of 51st Ave E.

The suspect was located inside along with the stolen items and the clothing that matched with the individual on the surveillance camera.

Authorities say the suspect admitted to the burglary and was arrested and brought to jail on burglary related charges.
