A Duluth boutique that was forced to close their doors during the COVID-19 pandemic is taking a new approach to allow customers to still buy their fashion products in person.

Liila Boutique held their third Sidewalk Sale on Saturday.

Customers were able to buy new summer fashion pieces, including handmade earrings and accessories.

Owner Amanda Rolfe says the Sidewalk Sale is a way to shop in a safe environment.

"We started just to kind of see how things would go. Without being able to be open full time, it was a good opportunity to bring the store to everyone," Rolfe said.

The boutique is normally located upstairs above Dovetail Café in the Duluth Folk School, which is closed right now. They are in the process of finalizing reopening, and once they do, Liila Boutique will be able to do the same.
