City of Duluth Utility Operations crews are working to repair a water main break in the Lincoln Park neighborhood that occurred early Sunday morning.

Officials say the break occurred at 2625 West 1st Street just after 7:00am.

Water has been shut off on 1st Street between 26th and 28th Avenue West.

It is not known how long it will take the fix the break, but officials say crews are working as quickly as they can.

Drivers are asked to avoid the work zone if possible.

The City of Duluth has seen a number of water main breaks this year as temperatures dropped and then rose again.
