Congressman Tom Tiffany visits UWS; talks schools opening up

Updated: August 12, 2020 10:49 PM

The congressman for Wisconsin’s Seventh District visited UWS Wednesday.

Tom Tiffany was recently elected to congress in a special election back in May after congressman Sean Duffy resigned to be with his family.

At UWS, Tiffany addressed a myriad of topics, including his opinion on what schools should do this fall.

"Let's get our kids back in school. Parents want that. We've had no deaths under the age of 20 from COVID-19 here in the state of Wisconsin. Really important to get schools back in session. I believe schools are essential,” Tiffany said.

Congressman Tiffany is up for reelection this fall.

His primary opponent will be democrat Tricia Zunker.
