Fire departments continue accepting mask donations

Updated: May 19, 2020 12:30 PM

The need for masks continues, and there are ways you can help in the efforts.

Fire departments in St. Louis County will be accepting cloth mask donations on an ongoing basis. The masks will be donated to congregate living settings throughout the county.

This mask drive is a continuation effort of Governor Tim Walz's statewide mask drive last month.

Masks can be dropped off any time at fire halls in Duluth, Ely, Grand Lake Township, Hermantown, Hibbing, Lakewood Township, Proctor, and Virginia. St. Louis County staff will then collect the masks, and coordinate delivery to where they're needed most. Anyone donating is asked to wear a face covering or cloth mask while physically at the fire stations.
