Church hosts Diaper Drive for Duluth Harbor Mission

Donations to purchase dozens of diapers were collected at the Duluth Gospel Tabernacle Sunday.

The drive was organized by the women's ministry at the church.

“A need right now is diapers for their mission and so we thought an easy, fun way to meet that need would just be to have a door offering as our church family leaves service today,” Allie King, a member of the women’s ministry said.

King said the money raised Sunday will be used to purchase diapers from the Duluth Harbor Mission.

“Despite the pandemic and the setbacks that those challenges provide for people, our church family has been just great to step up with non-perishable food items, hygiene products, bottled water, sunblock and bug repellant in these warmer months,” King said.

Anyone who is interested in donating to the cause can contact the Duluth Gospel Tabernacle or the Duluth Harbor Mission.
