It turns out Sunday was Bentleyville's last night of the season.

The light display in Duluth's Bayfront Park was due to hold an event Monday, including fireworks, to mark its final night of the season. Organizers announced Monday afternoon that the event would not happen.

"It just is not safe to have so many people driving and putting our volunteers out in these weather conditions," organizers wrote in a social media post.

Bentleyville's 2022 season is scheduled to begin on Nov. 19.
