Police say the 20-year-old female driver of the car who hit the man was arrested for criminal vehicular operation, 2nd Degree D.W.I. and Child Endangerment for having a baby in the car.

Police say preliminary investigations indicate that a 2006 Ford Taurus was traveling westbound on 4th street. Police say the vehicle failed to stop for the stop sign or the pedestrian who was in the crosswalk. Police say the vehicle hit the pedestrian and then left the scene.

Responding officers located the injured pedestrian, still in the crosswalk. The suspect vehicle was located a short distance from the scene at which time an arrest was made.
