St. Scholastica celebrates move-in day

Updated: September 04, 2020 05:54 PM

St. Scholastica welcomed their newest Saints to campus on Friday. And they made it fun, even though we're in the middle of a pandemic.

Families checked-in drive-through style, and coordinated to make sure people weren't moving into the same room at the same time.

Students are being asked to not go into eachother's rooms for the first two weeks.

But the sun was shining and the welcome crew cheered loudly and helped guide families.

Megan Perry-Spears, Dean of Students, shared, "At the beginning of the summer, I wasn't sure we were going to be able to do this. At the core, our fundamentals and Benedictine values haven't changed. The joy is still flowing."

Welcome weekend activities continue.

Hybrid classes start on Tuesday.
