Shine Teal for MOCA on Friday

Updated: September 21, 2020 05:39 PM

In this pandemic, the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance is moving their fundraising event that normally happens in Duluth at the DECC, online.

Shine Teal for MOCA is coming up on Friday evening at 7pm. It's virtual, and free!

"Women need us now more than ever. We are there for them," shared Kris Greer, board chair of MOCA. "They are facing increased stress, isolation, and even changes in care. We want to support those women, and raise much needed research funds for this difficult cancer."

She's a 19-year survivor herself.

Plus, landmarks around Duluth will shine teal on Friday and Saturday evenings, including Enger Tower, the DECC, Glensheen, The Silos at Pier B, and Northland Country Club.
