The COVID-19 outbreak means they are going to be packing up 45-50 pound boxes of food for people to pick up. Usually, people can walk into the food shelf and pick out their own.

Now the boxes will be handed out through the alley door. That way large groups won't end up waiting in the lobby area.

Van Daele was also busy coordinating donations from other places that have to get rid of large supplies, because of closures.
