July 22, 2015 07:35 AM

An early morning fire left a Superior garage in ruins, along with the vehicle inside.

The Superior Fire Department says the detached garage, located at 4107 Itasca Street, was fully engulfed by the time they arrived at 4:41 Wednesday morning.

Officials say no one was injured, but a vehicle was inside at the time of the blaze. The Fire Department says it was destroyed.

Three other vehicles outside the garage were also damaged. In total, firefighters used 10,000 gallons of water to extinguish the cars that were on fire.

Crews used another 1000 gallons of water from a hose line to protect the house and two neighboring garages that were showing signs of heat damage. All firefighters had cleared the scene by 6:30 a.m.

Damage is estimated at $70,000.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the blaze.
