It's called 122 Conversations. She's interviewing people from all five of Duluth's sister cities, plus Duluth, and putting their words into art.

She spent time at Glensheen on Friday interviewing members of the Japanese delegation here from O'hara-Isumi City.

"There's something about the arc of the interviews, when the interviewee really opens up, that is inspiring to me. It's kind of the cross cultural understanding and communication, which is what this project is all about," Labovitz said.

The exhibit will be on display in Duluth in either 2017 or 2018.
