Duluth, Minn. - If 26.2 doesn't seem like far enough, Eric Strand of St. Louis, Missouri is the guy to talk to. For the fourth straight year, he is running 52.4 miles at Grandma's Marathon, beginning at the finish line in Canal Park and up to the starting line in Two Harbors. Then, he'll run the actual marathon from Two Harbors back to Canal Park. This year, he is joined on his journey by Ben Macaux of Aurora, Illinois.

Strand left Canal Park at about 2:45 a.m. Saturday morning wearing lights on their heads. Our cameras caught up with Eric and Ben about an hour into their run, just after they had run DOWN Lemon Drop Hill.

Strand starting running 'The Double' back in 2012. According to the Grandma's Marathon Media Guide, this is the 16th year he's run at Grandma's.
