March 26, 2015 11:04 PM

Crews started construction on Duluth's first Dunkin' Donuts on Thursday.

The city issued a permit on Wednesday, meaning Mark Haug Construction Company could start laying into the empty lot on West Central Entrance that was previously home to Warehouse Liquor for decades.

The coffee and baked goods company was set to open the first of its seven proposed locations in the Duluth area this spring.
