The Good Morning Northland is headed back to Evolve Duluth for this Workout Wednesday. Last week, they tackled spin class and this week, it's hot yoga.
"So, we are going to do a hot flow today. That's the most common class that we have on our schedule...The room is going to be 102 degrees to 104 degrees with about 30-35% humidity," trainer Jessica Rossing explained.
Rossing said her classes draw in yogis of all levels. She said instructors are very good at modifying poses for beginners and advanced.
"It just brings so much for everybody in a different way, whether it's the relaxation or meditation, to working your body in a new way, to the the flexibility that it brings to the core. There are a lot of things yoga can bring to an individual," she said.
Rossing brought GMN anchor Maarja Anderson through a mini-hot yoga class.
"I think there's that expectation to always be busy, always be doing something, and yoga is just a gentle reminder to let it go."
Evolve Duluth has yoga classes available every day of the week. Their studio is located at 132 E. Superior St. For more information, click here.
