The trial of a former Minneapolis police officer charged in George Floyd's death enters its third week Monday, with the state nearing the end of its case.
Testimony continued Thursday in the criminal trial of Derek Chauvin. George Floyd's girlfriend and two paramedics took the stand. Also questioned was the first supervisor called to the scene, former Minneapolis Police Sgt. David Pleoger.
A government study concluded rainstorms grew more erratic and droughts were longer across most of the western United States over the past 50 years as climate change warmed the planet.
