UMD football takes over No. 22 spot in AFCA poll

The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) football team took over the number 22 spot in the latest American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) poll released on Monday.

They previously held the number 11 spot before falling to Wayne State University 31-28 Saturday at home.

The Bulldogs, now 3-1 overall on the season, are one of just three Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) teams to land in the Top 25.

UMD will look to rebound on the road Saturday visiting Minnesota State University-Moorhead. Kickoff is set for 12pm. For their full schedule, click here.
