Dozens Hit the Trails for Stride, Ride, Glide Triathlon in Superior

The first ever Stride, Ride, Glide Triathlon took over the trails at the Superior Municipal Forest.

The event featured a 5K run, a 10K bike portion, and 10k ski. Racers could participate as an individual or as a team switching off between each leg.

All proceeds from the event will go towards more efficient grooming equipment for the trails.

Typically cities are pretty self-sufficient and a little self-dependent," said Parks, Rec, and Forestry Superintendent Russ Behlings. "So, it's great to see the community come in and support the recreational side of things, trails, and opportunities out there," he added.
