WASHINGTON - Tyson Foods, Inc. is recalling approximately 36,420 pounds of chicken nugget products.  According to the United States Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service, the chicken nuggets may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically rubber.

According to a release, the recall covers five-pound packages of Tyson White Meat Panko Chicken Nuggets with a best-if-used date of Nov. 26, 2019, case code "3308SDL03" and time stamps 23:00 through 01:59.

The products subject to recall bear the establishment number P-13556 inside the USDA mark of inspection. The items were shipped to retail locations nationwide. 

According to the release, the problem was discovered when Tyson received complaints from consumers. FSIS was notified Tuesday, January 29.     

There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider.

FSIS asks consumers to check their freezers for the product. Do not eat. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
