From December 26th through January 4th, you can sign up to start your healthy habit with full membership access. That includes childcare, use of the workout equipment, even the pool. The goal: to help the Northland kick off their resolutions on the right foot.

"Maybe your resolution is to have more time for self care," says Associate Executive Director, Emily Ranta. "Maybe you come in, bring your kids, drop them off, maybe you walk on the treadmill for a little bit, but then you go take a sauna and then sit in the lobby and read a book." Ranta says self care is just as important as the traditional workout.

Camp Miller will also take part in informing families about how they can develop the habit of making more time for family, increase structured and unstructured play time for children and adults, and to get into the good habit of exploring and embracing the outdoors. One family who signs up for the 21 Day Habit will receive a free week of camp at Camp Miller, a value of $495.

The Downtown Y is located at 302 W. 1st Street. Head over to check out how you can start your healthy habit, it only takes 21 days!
