"We are very excited. We love the opportunity to tell people what it's like to have a differently-abled child and the opportunity to promote acceptance and inclusion," shared Maranda Everson, their mother.

The video is being played on Saturday, September 12th, and kicks off Down Syndrome Awareness Month in October.

Nolan, Natalie's older brother, said, "I love having a sister with Down syndrome. I like teaching her things. She loves our dog, Rumor."

The photo is going to be one of 500 that will appear in the video. This is the second time they submitted to be part of it.

Everson said if it weren't for COVID, they would have gone out and watched the video in Times Square in person. Instead, they'll be watching here, and doing their own virtual Buddy Walk, which benefits the National Down Syndrome Society.
