Honor the Earth works to create awareness and support for Native environmental issues and the music-filled event will feature different performers, a crafters market, demonstrations, and more revolving around their mission.

The musical lineup will  include Chastity Brown, Maria Isa, Corey Medina, and David Huckfelt.  Huckfelt said his music reflects the importance of their mission.

"It's not only to draw attention to the water protectors and Lake Superior and some issues, it's a celebration of music and art in this  geography," Huckfelt said.  "Duluth has become an important place connecting people to Lake Superior, the Boundary Waters and there's a lot of important issues at stake."

You can buy tickets to the festival online here or at the door.

The Water is Life Festival is this Sunday, July 21 at Bayfront Festival Park.
