The Duluth Fire Department says they responded to the incident at Greenbriar Drive at 11:13 p.m. Crews arrived to find a trailer home fully involved.

They began dousing the flames and the department says they were able to efficiently knock down the fire. However, the structure is considered a total loss. Authorities say radiant heat from the fire also damaged the siding to an adjacent trailer home.

The department says two adult males and a dog were able to exit the structure on their own. One of the males was treated on scene for smoke inhalation and severe burns, and was transported to the Miller-Dwan Burn Center. The other was treated on scene for smoke inhalation.

A resident in a neighboring house says their dog went missing during the fire and it's not known where the dog is at this time.

Damages are estimated at $80,000 for the structure and $20,000 for contents.

The Duluth Fire Marshal's office is investigating the cause of the fire.
