Over 1,000 people were without service early Wednesday after high winds and rain passed through the region. |

Minnesota Power and Lake Country Power reported over 4,700 customers were without service at times as high winds and rain ripped through the region Wednesday.
As of 5:30 p.m., the Minnesota Power outage map reported the number down to 2,277 customers without service. In addition, Lake Country Power's outages had dropped to about 60 customers without power. Both companies say crews are working to restore service.
