Tech Bytes: Spotify to go Public, Facebook Feature Expansion

In today's Tech Bytes, Spotify is hoping for a billion- dollar payday. The world's largest music streaming service will soon begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange. Launched 12 years ago, Spotify has yet to turn a profit. last year alone, the company lost 1.5 billion dollars.

Facebook is going after Linkedin by expanding its jobs feature. It's now available in 40 more countries, after launching in the U.S. last year. Microsoft-owned Linkedin has more than 546 million users in more than 200 countries.

A warning for anyone nodding off in their Uber. A New Jersey native was partying with friends in West Virginia, when he hailed an Uber to take him back to where he was staying. Instead, he blacked out and woke up two hours later, still in the car. By then, he was halfway back to his home in New Jersey! The trip cost him more than $1,600!
