Tech Bytes: iPhone Price Cut, Facebook Warning

In today's Tech Bytes, Apple is reportedly cutting production of its most expensive phone ever by half. The company is now expected to crank out about 20 million iPhone X's in the first quarter of the year instead of 40 million. The $1,000 price tag is blamed for lower than-expected sales.

Dozens of medical experts are warning parents not to let their kids use the new "Messenger Kids" app. In a letter to Facebook, the group says younger children are not ready for social media accounts, which they say could undermine the children's development. The app is meant for kids as young as six. Facebook says it provides a safe environment with no ads.

Amazon has opened "The Spheres." It's a rain forest of sorts for employees in Seattle. the giant conservatory houses 40,000 plants from 50 countries with custom led lights creating synthetic sunshine.
