Tech Bytes: Facebook Possible Fine, Internet Use Plateau

In today's Tech Bytes, Facebook facing a big possible fine. It follows the data breach that compromised more than 50 million accounts. European regulators want to know if the company's reaction to the breach violated new privacy laws. A potential fine could be more than $1.6 billion.

The internet's long stretch of growth may finally be slowing down. A new study shows 89% of people use the internet and 77% use smartphones. However, that number remains unchanged since 2016. The plateau is contributed to there not being many non-users left.

Your smartphone may be making your doggie depressed. researchers in the UK say excess screen time may cause your dog anxiety. The study says dogs read body language, eye contact, and facial expressions. If we're on our phones dogs think we're not interested.
