Tech Bytes: Facebook VR Headset, Flying Car

In today's Tech Bytes, Facebook has announced a new virtual reality system. The Oculus Quest headset is a stand-alone system that can run without a computer or cell phone. It will be compatible with other oculus products. The headset launches next spring for about $400 dollars.

Lyft is offering to pay people to ditch their cars and use the ride-hailing service instead. Lyft says it will choose about 2,000 people to take part in this month-long deal and will pay them up to $600 in credits.

This is the world's first flying car, and it's about to go on sale in the US. It's called the transition. It's creator says it can change from driving to flying modes in under a minute. It can soar at 100 miles an hour. The price hasn't been determined, but sales start next month.
