Tech Bytes: Apple Free Content, Fortnite Dance Battle

In today's Tech Bytes, Apple working on a new digital video service. It will feature original shows, and programming from traditional media companies. Apple device owners will reportedly get the Apple-owned material for free, through a new app. The company is hoping the idea goes over better than when it gave away a U2 album, which sparked backlash.

Facebook is launching an update to its life event category to mark "National Coming Out" day. Users can tap "relationships", then the new "came out" feature to share their stories about that critical moment in their lives.

Fortnite's newest update includes the equivalent of a dance battle. Instead of fighting your way around the game, players must clear enemies off the floor, then actually dance their way to victory against another team.
