Spirit Mountain is ready to open the season on Friday, November 22.  It's also gearing up for the 28th annual Amsoil National Snocross weekend.

"We kick off that Thanksgiving weekend starting Friday, racing runs through Sunday," Brandy Ream, the Executive Director for Spirit Mountain said. "Our discounted tickets are on sale through tomorrow, so if you're looking to save money, if you visit us at, you'll find a Snocross link and that will take you to all of our discounts."

They have added new discounts for military or first responders.  If you're looking to bring the family, they have a $99 special that includes two adult tickets, two kids tickets, and a meal for everyone.

"It's a wonderful spectator event," Ream said.  "You're going to see racing from the pro level down to the youth level, lots of vendors that are there, we have great food and beverage happening, we have a brand new party place on Saturday fueled by Red Bull," Ream said.

Ream said they've been blessed with early winter weather which allowed for early snow-making.

Things kick off on Friday at noon until 8 p.m.  She said six trails and the terrain park will be open.  It runs out of the Grand Avenue Chalet due to Snocross.

There are deals you can get for your Spirit Mountain passes.  They have a Triple Play Pass on sale that includes three visits and before Snocross they start the Snowsavers sales for Black Friday.
