A shed near Two Harbors was completely destroyed after a fire Wednesday evening.

The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office says the fire was reported just before 6 p.m. On E Shore Rd. in Pequaywan Township, which is located west of Two Harbors.

Upon arrival, firefighters found the shed fully engulfed, and suppressed the fire. The sheriff's office says the structure was a total loss.

No one was injured The cause of the fire is unknown, but authorities say it originated in the area of an old, disused electrical winch in the rear of the shed.

The Pequaywan Volunteer Fire Department, Minnesota DNR, and a St. Louis County Deputy Sheriff responded to the incident.
