Severe Weather Cancels Flights Departing from Duluth

Grandma's Marathon Runners who flew into Duluth may have been stranded at the Duluth International Airport Sunday night due to flight cancellations. 


According to United Airline's website, two of the four flights scheduled to fly to Chicago O'Hare International Airport were canceled due to severe weather. Delta Airlines said three of their flights scheduled to fly to Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport were also canceled.

WDIO has learned people traveling to Duluth Sunday were affected, too. There was at least one flight out of Chicago O'Hare was canceled Sunday night.
