The story takes place West High. The "jock" Troy Bolton and "brainy" Gabriella cause a stir within the "cliques" of the school after trying out for a musical. Students are threatened by the two going out of their comfort zone. However, their bold move opens the door for others in the school to be brave and try something new.

Emma explains her favorite song is exclusively in the play and wasn't in the original film. Williams explains that his favorite song is "When There is Me and You," which features both leads singing together.

"I feel like it's when me and Gabriella really get to shine," he says.

Shows run Thursday, November 2 through Saturday, November 4 at Denfeld High School's Auditorium. Each show begins at 7 p.m. There is also a matinee showing on Sunday, November 5 at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $10. They'll be sold at the door before each show.
