Help Local Family with Northland's Largest Baby Shower

Life 97.3 and St. Luke's are partnering up again this year to put on the Northland's Largest Baby Shower and it lasts the whole month of January.

Niki Corbin, the Station Manager for Life 97.3, said they tried to make it easy for anyone who wants to give to the baby shower.

"We wanted to make sure a good chunk of the Northland was being impacted, so we have organizations in a lot of different areas," Corbin said.  "We also wanted to make sure that there were drop-off locations near there, so if you're in those communities, you can have a local place to go."

They also have an Amazon baby registry, so you can donate online as well.

They're looking for typical baby shower items like diapers, wipes, clothes, car seats, and more.  They prefer that the items are used.

All the items collected are given locally.

"We're not supposed to do life alone," Corbini said.  "We're supposed to be there for each other and so at Life 97.3 we provide hope and encouragment on the air everyday and we thought, why stop there?"

The baby shower lasts all month. For more info, go to
