The sheriff's office says multiple agencies responded to the home located at 7795 Briar Lake Drive West in North Star Township around 2:30 after a neighbor discovered the fire and called 911.

North Star Township is located west of Two Harbors.

No occupants were in the home, and no injuries were caused by the fire.

The sheriff's office says it does not appear to be suspicious in nature, but it remains under investigation by the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office and the Minnesota State Fire Marshal.

The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office, North Star Fire Department, Canosia Fire Department, Gnesen Fire Department, Lakewood Fire Department, Clifton Fire Department, Normanna Fire Department, Pequaywan Fire Department, Rice Lake Fire Department, Two Harbors Fire Department, and Air National Guard Fire Department responded.
