October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the mall is doing their part to bring awareness to the public. The mall's fountain has been turned the color pink and pink balloons are displayed throughout the building.

In addition, the mall is encouraging visitors to buy a $1 pink ball to personalize with a message to a loved one. That ball will float in the fountain through the month. They can be purchased in the mall office.

Shoppers can also purchase a sticker for a $1 donation and post it on the "More Than Pink Hero Wall." All proceeds will benefit the Susan G. Komen organization.

The mall will also be selling Susan G. Komen Visa Simon gift cards. For every gift card purchased, Simon will donate $1 to the organization.

Susan G. Komen has a goal of reducing current U.S. Breast cancer deaths by 50 percent by 2026.
