Marine General to Fry up 60 Turkeys For Bike Drive

It was Turkey Day once again for GMN. Marine General Owner Russ Francisco was in studio all morning to show us how to flavor and fry up a a turkey.

On Wednesday, Russ and his team at Marine General is inviting everyone to stop by their store on London Road in Duluth for a fried turkey sandwich. They'll be frying up 60 turkeys from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Ice fishing pros from around the state will also be there to help anglers get geared up for the season.

The Turkey Fry is part of a major fundraiser with the Salvation Army called "Bob's Bike Drive." Marine General will be collecting bike, cash and toy donations at the store all day.

Francisco says this year they made a deal with Huffy and already have 400 bikes in town ready to donate.
