According to the Duluth police Department, on Aug. 16, the Superior Police Department, DPD, and Lake Superior Drug and Violent Crime Task Force executed a search warrant at an apartment on the 200 block of East 2nd St. The search warrant was the result of an investigation into the sale of cocaine by a male living in that apartment.

Authorities say investigators recovered cocaine packaged for sale, a digital scale, and drug packaging. Investigators arrested 36-year-old Michael Mark Lewis of Chicago on probable cause of second-degree sale of a controlled substance, according to the DPD.

On Aug. 17, the Saint Louis County Attorney's Office formally charged him with second-degree sale of a controlled substance of a public housing zone . His bail is set at $30,000.
