Local Organizations Teaming up to Hold Northland Baby Shower

Life 97.3, St. Luke's hospital and a number of other local organizations are looking for baby shower items. It's part of "The Northland's Largest Baby Shower."

"November and December, there's a lot of generosity flying through the air," Niki Corbin, Station Manager for LIFE 97.3 says, "but the needs don't stop once December is over."

Corbin says they want families to thrive, so they thought to hold this event.  

"There are a lot of needs with diapers, clothes, and even toys," she explains, "Things that will help families that are struggling this time of year."

It runs through January. There are donation drop-off sites at the following places:

Minnesota

  • Common Ground Coffee Shop, Cloquet
  • Chisholm Baptist Church, Chisholm
  • Cub Foods, Duluth
  • Duluth Gospel Tabernacle
  • Eastridge Community Church, Duluth
  • St. Luke’s Hospital (lobby), Duluth
  • Inspirations Bookstore, Grand Rapids
  • Hibbing Alliance Church, Hibbing
  • The Landing Church, Proctor

Wisconsin

  • Celebration Fellowship, Ashland
  • Hayward Wesleyan Church, Hayward
  • Central Assembly of God, Superior
