Prepare talking points

  • Get your mind off nervousness and focus on others by asking questions.
  • Find out what you have in common and share things about yourself to connect and develop rapport

Mix it up

  • Circulating and mingling shows you are friendly and is a great way to meet people.
  • To move on gracefully, let others know you value meeting them and enjoyed your conversation.
  • By socializing you may meet a new business associate or make a new friend.
