Change your messages

Ex. "If I work smart, I can get it all done." "I'm doing the best I can in the situation I'm in."

Do speed checks

Notice when you're getting anxious and/or getting an increased heart rate and 'chill.'

Quit clock-checking

Solberg-Tapper suggests Reducing checking by 50-75% to bring that overwhelming feeling down.

Write priorities on paper

Spend time each day writing down important tasks either on a blank sheet or on your personal calendar.

"Don't come up with a whole long to-do list," Solberg-Tapper says, "just the top three things."
